Pacific Golf Club is one of Brisbane's premier Golf Clubs, being a host for numerous State and National events over the past 60 years. Nestled into the hills on the western side of Carindale we are only 15 minutes drive from the city, yet we can provide a beautiful natural setting and peaceful escape from the rush of the outside world, an ideal setting for any corporate function. The course has recently been rated in the top 50 public access courses in Australia, reflecting the quality of the course itself.
Pacific offers an 18 hole championship golf course with a par of 72 and an Australian Course rating of 73 for the Blue markers, a tough challenge for all golfers. The course is recognised as one of the most challenging courses in Queensland when we utilise our back tee markers and hardest pin placements. We can however set the course to play easier to suit your requirements and to complement the ability of players within your group.
Our fully equipped clubhouse, overlooking the course, provides the ideal environment for you and your guests to enjoy a couple of drinks after the game.
Pacific's Corporate Golf Solutions Manager will assist with all planning and preparation of your day and will be at your disposal to ensure all aspects of your day run smoothly, allowing you to enjoy the day and to mix with your guests.
With years of experience running corporate and charity golf days we can also offer many ideas and suggestions that may be able to benefit your golf day and to add that special touch.
Should you choose Pacific Golf Club as the host venue for this event we will also offer you the free use of one of our three function rooms for the day to hold your presentation dinner, cocktail party or lunch.
These rooms are ideal for small or large groups and we cater to any type of function. A full range of audio visual equipment is also available for you to use to assist any presentations you may wish to incorporate into your event.

Signage
Delivered to Pacific with any special requests 48 business hours prior to the event. Signage can be placed both on the course and in the clubhouse. All signage will be placed on the course by Pacific Golf Club staff and also retrieved. Signs will be dried, folded and ready for collection 48hrs after your Golf Event. All signage must be free standing or supplied with ropes, pegs etc..
Registration
Members Lounge - Registration table - registration to be completed by the corporate host, however we can arrange staff for assistance.
Teeing Off
Pacific staff will help you brief your players and assist them to regarding their starting holes. Shotgun starts can be conducted for either morning or afternoon rounds however we recommend a start no later than 12.00pm during the winter months.
Drinks
We can supply all of your drinks for the day and keep a running account to include course drinks, pre golf and post golf drinks. We can also limit drinks to specific lines, specific times, supply drinks to a set budget, or any other requirements you may have.
Pacific provides you the use of their drinks cart and are included in the Shotgun Green fee.
Buggies
26 on-course are available for hire – currently $38.00 per buggy. We can source additional motorises buggies however the cost is passed directly to you. (currently $79.50 per buggy)
Motorised Buggies
The following rules are to apply:
- Not to be driven between the Blue lines and the greens or in the absence of these lines within a perimeter of five meters of greens, and two metes of bunkers or tees.
- To be driven slowly and negotiate slopes carefully.
- Avoid damage from overhanging trees.
- A maximum of two people on a buggy at a time.
- Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to drive Motorised buggies (trikes) on Club property.
- 90 Degree Rule (Posted on Local Rule Board) Buggies are to be driven in the tree line and rough only. Buggies are not to be driven on any fairway. Players are to walk from their buggy to their ball on the fairway
- Any repair for damage to motorised buggies will be the responsibility of the hirer / driver
Concurrent Events
Nearest the Pins - 3rd, 7th, 13th, 17th.
Long Drive/s - Straightest Drive/s
Approach Shots - Best second or third shot to any specified green.
Betting / Charity holes.
All of the events which require cards/markers on the green will be placed on the course prior to your event and collected at the end of play, all at no charge.
Once again we are able to offer advice as to any concurrent or novelty events you would like to conduct. Events such as “Drive Between The Flags” or “Closest to the Fairway Flag” add a fun novelty element. Please note that such requirements may incur additional cost.
Competition
At your Discretion. We are able to supply all information regarding any competition. We will also assist and/or prepare your results for you.

The Scorecards and Registration / Starting Timesheet are prepared by Pacific Golf Club with assistance from the Event Organiser. (Player list and team groupings to be provided to Pacific three (3) working days prior to event.) |
