Junior Membership allows you to utilise the 18 Hole Championship Course, ' Par Three nine hole course and all practice facilities. This form of Membership is available to Boys and Girls between 12 and 17 years of age. Once a Junior attains the age of 18, he/she progresses to the intermediate category of membership. Please note: Special handicaps conditions apply to Juniors - please see handicapping for further details.
Playing Rules For Junior Members Under 12 Years of Age: All Junior Members Under 12 Years of age are only permitted to play the Par 3 Course unless:
1. The Junior Player is certified by the club professional, Golf Manager, or Club Captain that he or she has attained a satisfactory standard to play the 18 Hole Course. * After attaining certification the Junior Member can play on the 18 Hole Course on Non Competition Days
2. Under 12 Junior Members May Participate in the Introduction to 18 Hole Course Competition to attain certification which commences with First 9 Holes on Par 3 Course and Last 9 Holes on the 18 Hole Course (Commencing From 10th Tee).
3. Certified Under 12 Junior Members who can demonstrate they have a playable knowledge of the rules of golf and golf etiquette, may participate in competition play provided:
* No full member is deprived of a position to play * The Junior must have an AGU handicap * The Junior must play with a full member and * Until the Junior can demonstrate that they do not contribute to slow play, must play at the end of the field. |
